About Us
Garden of Grace Counseling, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that was formed to provide affordable services in a safe place to all women seeking healing and change. Having overcome the crippling impacts from years of compounded trauma, our founder has dedicated her life to helping other women transform their pain into power and enter into the fullness of joy. She is known for healing women who have been through years of traditional therapy with little success. We believe that women are the healing salve for the world and must be empowered to care for themselves and one another.
Our philosophy is that although pain is inevitable, suffering can be optional. We engage the deep inner work of the heart and make pathways that connect with the mind so that freedom from suffering lasts beyond the counseling sessions. And for women who enjoy the ancient custom of connecting with one another for nurturing, wisdom and growth we offer Sacred Belonging Circles in a judgement free zone.
When one heart becomes whole it can influence another. When two hearts become whole they can influence a community. When communities become whole they can influence humanity.
Our Vision is to unearth the beauty that lives in the garden of every heart.
Mission is to serve women by integrating spiritually-based, faith-informed counseling with mindfulness and meditation to provide a holistic approach to inner healing.
Our Core Values are Accountability, Compassion, Humility, Inclusivity, and Integrity which inform all that we do.
Lori Reho is a Licensed Pastoral Counselor through the National Christian Counseling Association and a Certified Temperament Therapist. She combines her faith tradition and own life experience with her formal education and training in Pastoral Counseling and Temperament Psychology along with practical application to help women in need of nurturing, healing and transformation. Lori utilizes her Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Certification to complement the other methodologies she employs to help women cultivate a balance between mind, heart and spirit.
Living into the fullness of God's desire for us also means being in loving relationship with one another. Lori offers couples counseling & enrichment sessions to her clients using the Ubuntu Theory that each person is equally responsible for the relationship. As a certified Prepare / Enrich Facilitator, she uses the Prepare / Enrich Assessment to identify areas of strengths and growth along with the Arno Temperament Profile, which identifies each person's inborn needs and how to best meet them. Together these tools reveal a customized pathway to restoration and / or enrichment.
Our fullest and most balanced life includes intentional community. Women need other women to root for them, value them, love them and stand in their corner. As a Certified Sistership Circle Facilitator, Lori brings women together in community through Sacred Belonging Circles, cohorts and classes to nurture belonging, cultivate accountability and provide education.
